Since 1895 Molino Tuzzi is the last handcrafted mill between Gorizia and Trieste.
To produce its own flours, Tuzzi family has always chosen local corn and old wheats, developing exchange networks, encouraging seed preservation, and sustaining farmers in the area between Italy and Slovenia. This mill sustains several projects focused on environmental and social sustainability and it is a reference point in the region for social and participatory economy. The mill, the old part and the museum are open to be visited. Check out the opening hours!
