Chef Antonia Klugmann chose Vencò for her restaurant L’Argine just a few kilometers from the border between Italy and Slovenia, near Judrio river.
The restaurant next to the XVIIth century mill is surrounded by nature. While sitting in the two rooms (where we serve 9 tables), you can see from one side the garden and the vegetable garden and from the other the vineyards. The menu is set following the seasons and it is characterized by vegetables. The cuisine celebrates the territory using preferably local products, avoiding waste, and always trying to be more sustainable. We have also 4 bedrooms with king size beds to relax after your dinner and to taste in the morning our gourmet breakfast including rigorously local cheese and cold cuts, home made cakes, fresh centrifuges, jams and eggs.
