Ronco dei Tassi was born in 1989 when Fabio Coser and Daniela, his wife, bought a 9 hectares small farm. 4 hectares are vineyards, located in the heart of Goritian Collio between 400 and 200 m above sea level. Nowadays the farm has more than 30 hectares, 18 of which are vineyards, and it develops just near the borders with the Natural Park of Plessiva and in the woods for the leftover parts.
The farm is a family run business managed by Fabio Coser and his sons Matteo and Enrico. His aim is growing and improving especially from a qualitative point of view but staying always connected to the tradition and to the land, which is so generous and so important. These values allow him to stand out among a complex, global and homologated wine world.
The philosophy of the company is based on a rigorous attention to the plantation and the systems for handling the vineyards with quality and quantity checkups that lead to the sanest and most natural possible way of transforming the grapes into wine. This enables you to find in the final product all the characteristics and quality typical of the fruit and the land it originates from.
The winery produces mainly white wines: Malvasia, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon and Fosarin, a fine Collio Bianco made from Friulano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco. You can then find Collio Rosso Cjarandon, made from Merlot and Cabernet and Picolit.
